Friends of Tulsa Animal Services is a branch of the Shelter Support Network created to uplift and support the dogs and staff at Tulsa Animal Services. Through photography, networking, fundraising, and hands-on volunteer efforts, we help TAS showcase their adoptable dogs and connect them with the community. Our mission is simple: give every Tulsa dog the visibility, care, and opportunity they deserve.

Because Friends of TAS is a volunteer-run organization and not directly affiliated with Tulsa Animal Services, all volunteers must first be registered through the shelter.
To get started:
Complete the Tulsa Animal Services volunteer application
Attend a Tulsa Animal Services volunteer orientation
Follow all Tulsa Animal Services rules and guidelines
Once you’ve completed the application and orientation, please contact Friends of TAS. Our Volunteer Coordinator, Kayla, will reach out with next steps and help get you involved.
